Thank you to everyone that supported the annual Gun Show, we had a great turn out with over 200 tables and 2,500 people paid through the door!
Range Facility
  • 12 Lane Indoor Pistol Lanes

  • 4 Lane Indoor High Caliber Lanes

  • Outdoor Ranges 50 yard & 100 yard (Summer Hours)

  • Classroom

  • Ammunition available to purchase for range use

Winter Range Hours
October 1 - April 30
Monday 6 pm-9 pm
Wednesday 6 pm-9 pm
Friday Noon-9 pm
Saturday 4 pm-9 pm
Sunday 4 pm-9 pm
Daily Shooting Fees:
$10 for Members
$20 for Non-Members
$5 for Juniors (Under 18)
Outdoor Range Closes November 1st
Indoor High Caliber Range will be open during Winter Hours consistent with the Indoor Range.

The Matanuska Valley Sportsmen, Inc. is dedicated to firearms safety education as a public service, marksmanship training as a contribution to individual preparedness for personal and national defense, and the sports of shooting, hunting, and fishing as wholesome forms of recreation.


Our Board and Staff are all volunteers, we are a 501c3 organization committed to our community.



We have several options for Voting and non-voting annual memberships including options for Seniors, Youth and Families.

All memberships allow shooters to enjoy the facilities at a reduced rate.

Voting members are encouraged to participate in our board and committees. Voting members elect the board at the annual meeting held every February.
